It depends on the plan you choose:

• First network connection (On Arrival): The validity starts only when you arrive in Jamaica and connect to the local network. Most plans use this policy.
• First installation (Immediate): The validity starts immediately after you install the eSIM. Some plans use this policy.

Most modern phones are supported. The quickest way to check is to dial *#06# on your phone. If you see an EID number (32 digits) on the screen, your phone supports eSIM!

1. Scan the code in your phone's Settings > Cellular > Add eSIM.
2. When you land in Jamaica, turn on Data Roaming for this eSIM line.

This varies by plan type:

• Daily Plans (e.g., 500MB/Day): You get Unlimited Data. If you hit the daily high-speed limit, you can continue using data at a reduced speed (usually not lower than 256kbps) under the Fair Usage Policy (FUP).
• Fixed Data Plans (e.g., 10GB Total): These plans do not have FUP. The data service will stop immediately once the total limit is reached. We recommend buying a larger plan if you are a heavy user.
