Welcome to Roamiya ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing our website roamiya.com and purchasing our eSIM data plans, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Service Description
Roamiya is a reseller of eSIM (embedded subscriber identity module) data plans. We partner with international network providers to offer connectivity services.
- Nature of Goods: The products sold are digital goods (QR Codes/SM-DP+ addresses). No physical SIM cards will be shipped.
- Availability: While we strive for 100% uptime, network coverage depends on local carriers and may vary due to terrain, weather, or technical maintenance.
3. Device CompatibilityCrucial
It is the user's sole responsibility to ensure their device is eSIM-compatible and network-unlocked before purchase.
- Check Method: Users acknowledge they should dial *#06# to verify the presence of an EID or check our "Supported Devices" list.
- China iPhone Limitation: Users acknowledge that most iPhones purchased in Mainland China do not support eSIM.
- Refunds: We do not offer refunds if you purchase an eSIM for an incompatible or carrier-locked device once the QR code has been delivered.
4. Purchase, Delivery, and Activation
- Delivery: Upon payment confirmation, the eSIM QR code is delivered instantly to the email address provided.
- Activation Policy:
- Most plans activate only when connected to the destination network (Land & Connect).
- Some specific plans may activate upon installation. Please refer to the specific product page details.
- Validity: The validity period (e.g., 7 Days) counts down from the moment of activation.
5. Fair Usage Policy (FUP)
- Unlimited Plans: For plans labeled "Unlimited," a Fair Usage Policy may apply. If your data usage exceeds the high-speed threshold (e.g., 500MB/Day or total cap), your connection speed may be reduced to no lower than 128kbps to ensure network stability for all users. You will retain internet access at reduced speeds.
- Fixed Plans: Plans with fixed data amounts (e.g., 10GB) will stop service once the data limit is reached.
6. Refund and Cancellation Policy
We generally offer a refund under the following strict conditions:
- Before Installation: If you have NOT scanned the QR code and the eSIM has not been installed/activated, you may request a refund within 30 days of purchase.
- Technical Faults: If the eSIM cannot be installed or used due to a technical issue on our end (and not due to device incompatibility or lack of coverage), and our support team cannot fix it, a refund will be issued.
Non-Refundable Scenarios:
- You installed the eSIM but decided not to use it.
- You deleted the eSIM from your phone settings (QR codes are often one-time use).
- You are in an area with no signal coverage (e.g., remote mountains) where the local carrier does not guarantee service.
7. Limitation of Liability
Roamiya provides services on an "as is" basis. We are not liable for:
- Damages resulting from the loss of service or data connectivity.
- Losses incurred due to flight delays preventing the use of the eSIM.
- Device damage during installation.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, China, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
